Privacy Policy for "Comma Formatter" Chrome Extension

Comma Formatter is an internal tool used by our marketing team to manage our own advertising accounts (Facebook, TikTok, Google Ads) and our own Airtable workspace. It is distributed privately and is not intended for general public use.

1. What data do we collect?

We collect usage events to improve the extension. These events may include:

• The type of action performed (e.g., copying a Post ID, formatting, enabling/disabling ad sets, etc.)
• Technical metadata (e.g., ad ID, creative name, record ID, budget amount)
• Timestamp of the event

In addition, every request the extension sends to our own backend includes:

• An access key — a shared credential that authorises the request. It is issued by us to authorised team members and entered manually by the user. It identifies the team, not the individual.

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, passwords, or any personal identifiers
• Account credentials of any third-party service
• Your browsing history or content of web pages
• Any data unrelated to the extension's functionality

2. How do we use the data?

• To analyze extension usage and improve its features
• To detect and fix bugs
• To reject requests that do not carry a valid access key

We do not use any of this data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

3. What is stored on your device?

• The access key is stored using Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.sync). Because this is Chrome's sync storage, Chrome may replicate it across browsers where you are signed in to the same Chrome profile.
• It never leaves your browser except as a request header sent to our own backend.
• You can remove it at any time by uninstalling the extension.

4. How is the data stored?

• All data is stored securely on our own servers (Cloudflare R2)
• Request logs (the endpoint called and its timestamp) are kept in our Cloudflare Workers logs for a limited retention period and are accessible only to our team
• Data is not shared with third parties
